The crackling of the bathroom at night

On the other hand, he thought that the well-tempered glass had only been used for one year and suddenly "exploded". It must be that unscrupulous merchants sell unqualified tempered glass to themselves. So the next day, Mr. Wu called Yuhuatai District Market Supervision Administration 12315 to make a complaint.
Self-exploding toughened glass door
After receiving the complaint, the staff of Yuhuatai District Market Supervision Administration immediately contacted Mr. Wu and the merchants to understand the situation. The merchants said that all tempered glass was purchased from regular manufacturers. As for why the products suddenly exploded, they were not clear, only asking the manufacturers. Later, the staff contacted the tempered glass manufacturer by telephone. According to the explanation of the manufacturer’s technicians, tempered glass does explode itself, which is inevitable because of the production process of tempered glass itself. Especially in the shower room, the glass is unevenly heated and is more prone to bursting. Finally, under the coordination of the staff, the manufacturer promised to replace Mr. Wu with a new laminated glass shower door for free, which has a higher safety factor than traditional tempered glass.
Because modern float glass production technology can’t completely eliminate the existence of nickel sulfide impurities, self-explosion of toughened glass is inevitable, which is the inherent characteristic of toughened glass. China’s current standard (GB 15763.2-2005) has no restrictions on the self-explosion rate of tempered glass for the time being. According to relevant data, the self-explosion rate of tempered glass in China is about three thousandths at present.

For consumers who have installed tempered glass, besides paying attention to safety in daily use, they can stick high-performance polyester film on the glass. Commonly known as safety explosion-proof membrane, when the glass is broken for various reasons, it can stick to the glass fragments to prevent splashing and protect people from the splashing glass fragments. Conditional citizens can also replace tempered glass with laminated glass. Laminated glass is made up of two pieces of glass glued together with film. Even if both pieces of glass burst, the glass particles will stick together, and generally there will be no injuries.
