The epicenter was located near Wangdagua Village, Wangdagua Town, Pingyuan County, Dezhou City. At present, the earthquake relief work is in full swing.

The Shandong Earthquake Relief Headquarters sent a steering group led by the responsible comrades of the Provincial Emergency Department and the Provincial Seismological Bureau to the scene.
