On the evening of 18th, an earthquake of magnitude 6.2 occurred in Jishishan County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province, and the residents and counties in Haidong, Qinghai Province felt a strong earthquake. Up to now, the earthquake has killed 13 people in Qinghai, injured 182 people, lost 20 people, and damaged some infrastructure such as water, electricity, transportation and communication.
Earlier, Gansu Province held a press conference to inform that the earthquake had killed 105 people in Gansu. At present, a total of 118 people were killed in the Gansu earthquake.
