　　In order to strictly regulate the affairs of weddings, funerals and celebrations organized by Party and state staff, and promote the improvement of work style and the building of a clean government, these Interim Provisions are formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee on improving work style, stopping extravagance and waste, and strengthening honesty and self-discipline, combined with reality.

　　Article 1: It is forbidden to make a fuss about weddings, funerals and celebrations.

　　Advocate changing customs and traditions, and insist on frugality in all matters of weddings, funerals and celebrations. Except for weddings and funerals, it is strictly forbidden to invite and accept people other than relatives (immediate family members, collateral relatives within three generations and close in-laws, the same below) in any way.

　　The total number of wedding banquets shall not exceed 200 people (20 tables), and the number of banquets shall not exceed 300 people (30 tables) if the two parties jointly hold a wedding banquet in the same city. The scale of funeral should be strictly controlled.
